OSERP, by Virtux Global Ventures Pvt Ltd · Last updated 27 September 2026

OSERP is business software: accounting, sales, purchasing, inventory, point of sale, payroll and related functions, used through a web browser and the OSERP Android app. This policy explains what information OSERP handles, why, and the choices available. It applies to OSERP instances operated by Virtux Global Ventures Pvt Ltd (“OSERP”, “we”), to the OSERP Android app and to oserp.in.

Whose data it is

Each business using OSERP (our customer) has its own OSERP instance with its own database. The records a business keeps in OSERP - its customers, suppliers, items, invoices, payments, employees and so on - belong to that business. We process them on its behalf, to provide the service it has subscribed to, and for no other purpose. If you are a customer, supplier or employee of a business that uses OSERP, that business decides what is recorded about you; please contact it first.

What OSERP handles

The Android app

The OSERP app opens a business’s own OSERP instance. On the device itself it stores only the address of that instance and the printer setup (which printer, how it is connected, paper size). It connects to printers over USB, the local network, Bluetooth or a serial port solely to print receipts, labels and documents that the user asks for, and it does not read other data from those devices. The app does not collect location, contacts, messages, call logs, photos (other than files a user chooses to upload) or advertising identifiers, and it contains no advertising or third-party analytics. The version distributed outside Google Play checks apps.oserp.in once a day for a newer version of itself; that request carries no personal data.

How it is used

To provide OSERP: to run the functions a business uses, keep its books, print and send its documents, keep accounts secure and let the business meet its accounting and tax obligations. Messages to a business’s customers (for example a receipt by email, SMS or WhatsApp) are sent only when that business has set them up, through the gateway it has chosen. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use business records for advertising or to profile anyone.

Sharing

We do not share business records with third parties except: service providers that host and operate OSERP on our behalf under confidentiality obligations; messaging or payment providers a business has itself connected; and where the law requires it. A business’s own users see what their roles allow.

Security

OSERP is served only over HTTPS, and the Android app refuses unencrypted connections. Each business’s data is kept in its own database. Access is controlled by user roles, sessions expire, and changes to financial records are audited.

Retention and deletion

Business records are kept for as long as the business keeps its OSERP subscription, and as long after as the law requires for accounting and tax records. A business can export its data and, when it leaves OSERP, ask us to delete its instance. A person whose details are held by a business should ask that business to correct or delete them; we will help it do so. To remove the app’s own data from a device, uninstall the app.

Children

OSERP is business software for use by adults at work. It is not directed at children.

Changes and contact

When this policy changes, the date above changes with it. Questions, or requests about personal data held in an OSERP instance we operate, can be sent to sales@virtux.in.
